It’s a charger, it works great. Charging the flip video from my USB hub wasn’t working so this does the job. Small enough to travel with as well.

Charger is nice to have. Flip camera plugs into the computer. charger needed if you are going places where computer is not available. Since that is my situation, I needed the charger.
